GameRanger 2vs2 Tournament - $ 30 prize pool

Everyone is allowed to sign up and play in this tournament, according to the rules described here. We encourage anyone to participate and have fun (:

• Tournament will start march 5th 2012.
• The first place will be rewarded with $ 20, the second place will receive $ 10. The prizes will be paid via PayPal only (account is free and money can be transferred to a bank account). Winners are expected to provide further details later on.
• Tournament will start only if minimum number of 12 teams have checked in.
• All matches in Pool Phase are BO 3, see info on bracket page for further information
• Any team that consist of 2 players can participate, no requirement of being in the same clan. It is not allowed to form a team with more than 2 players.
• It will be a double-eliminiation tournament. This means that not only the Pool winners go to the next round. This is to make the tournament better balanced. For example, if the 3 best teams are in one division due to the random grouping, the 3rd place of this division could be better than the 1st place of another division. While this 3rd place team would normally be out of the tournament, it now has a last chance to compete through the Losers Bracket, see next item.
• The teams will be randomly put into pools. The 1st and 2nd place of each division will advance to the Winners Bracket. Depending on the number of teams 2nd, 3rd and 4th places will advance to the Losers Bracket
